Divorce or Relocation
A divorce, a job transfer, or a move to be near family means the house has to be resolved on a date certain. We give you a firm number and a firm date so nobody's next chapter waits on a showing schedule.
When a marriage ends or a job moves, the house becomes the thing everyone is waiting on. A traditional listing adds uncertainty exactly where you need certainty: an offer that may or may not appraise, a buyer whose loan may or may not clear, a closing date that slides twice. Our offer is a date and a number, and we don't renegotiate it because a lender got nervous.
In a divorce we stay neutral by design. Both parties get the same information at the same time, we take direction from both attorneys, and the proceeds are split at settlement exactly as your agreement or court order specifies. In a relocation we'll close before your start date or hold the closing until after you've landed — whichever makes the move easier.
What you can expect from us
- A firm price and a firm closing date, in writing.
- We work with both spouses and both attorneys, evenly.
- No showings, no strangers walking through, no lockbox.
- Post-closing occupancy if someone needs weeks to move.
- Discreet — no yard sign, no MLS listing.
How this works where you live
If both spouses are on title, both sign the contract and the deed unless a court order or power of attorney says otherwise.
A pending divorce case may require the sale terms to match a separation agreement or court order. Send it to us early and we'll write the contract to fit.
Employer relocation packages and school calendars often set the real deadline. Tell us the date that matters and we'll build the closing around it.
General information from our own experience — not legal or tax advice.
One number, one date, no drama. That's usually what people in the middle of a change need most.
